Now young adults, Peony and Poppy immediately set to getting themselves jobs. Peony, utilizing her extroversion and popularity, decided to become a style influencer. Poppy, on the other hand, decided with a heavy heart that her dream of becoming a writer was a dead-end, and given that she had to take care of her aging father, she called up Nayeli and asked her for help getting into the Business career. With Nayeli’s help, Poppy and Rusty moved to the renovated Newcrest.

When Peony invited some of her female friends over, a round of name-calling followed by a full-on brawl was the last thing she expected…and the fact that Poppy lost only made the less-popular sister more upset.

It would hardly be the last time Poppy would get into a fight, too…

Feeling self-conscious about her weight, Poppy starts doing morning jogs before school. Her extroverted sister, meanwhile, works her part-time job as a barista.

Poppy was studious, caring, friendly…and also horribly immature.

As the two girls get older, winter came to Willow Creek. Rusty made sure to keep reminding them how much he loved them, and two found they loved making snowpals outside.

Happy birthday to the twins! With Nayeli’s help, Rusty baked a delicious and fancy cake to celebrate.

When Rusty woke up with a furious hangover and found his ‘date’ from last night entertaining his twins - both of whom seemed to take to her immediately - he was understandably embarrassed. But the girl, whose name was Nayeli, was understanding, and said she completely enjoyed the night. The two took to talking - Rusty found out she was a businesswoman, and a bit younger than he was. She was single (thankfully), but not really looking for a boyfriend. But she had heard the girls’ birthday was soon, and wanted to help bake a cake.

The twins are growing up fast! Little Peony in her orange dress was a total charmer, while white dress Poppy was rambunctious, rooting through the dresser drawers, playing in the toilet, and generally being wild. But Rusty loved them both dearly.
